EPL Gameweek 19 Matches Off

Assalamualaikum w.b.t,

Berikut merupakan perlawanan yang dibatalkan disebabkan ribut salji atau ketebalan salji di padang dan sebab-sebab tertentu..

BLACKPOOL VS LIVERPOOL
EVERTON VS BIRMINGHAM

Adverse weather has hit the Barclays Premier League schedule

Laman web rasmi EPL menyatakan yang perlawanan ini akan ditunda ke tarikh tertentu.. Ikuti artikel penuh dari laman web tersebut..

Two Barclays Premier League matches have been postponed due to the recent bad weather.

Blackpool's home match against Liverpool has been called off because of a frozen pitch - along with Everton v Birmingham City.

Temperatures plummeted to well below freezing overnight forcing both fixtures to be postponed.

Blackpool had already arranged a pitch inspection for mid-day but brought it forward by two hours as it became obvious the match had no chance of going ahead.
Everton's fixture had to be called off because of frozen water pipes at Goodison Park.

Both club's groundstaff had worked tirelessly to try and get the fixtures played but they were unable to combat the unusually severe conditions.

DETERIORATING CONDITIONS
A statement on the Everton website confirmed: "Due to the adverse weather conditions in Liverpool overnight the stadium is not in a fit condition to stage a Premier League football match, one of which would have attracted an almost capacity attendance.

"There are several miles of frozen pipes, many of which burst during the course of Christmas Day night.

"Our stadium and safety teams worked 'round the clock but due to the rapidly deteriorating conditions - and in the interests of safety and hygiene we have reluctantly taken the decision to postpone the game.

"A new date for the fixture will be announced as soon as possible."

A statement on Blackpool's website read: "Following an early morning pitch inspection, the Seasiders Boxing Day fixture with Liverpool has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.

"The fixture will now take place at Bloomfield Road on Wednesday 12th January, kick off 8pm."
